What you will learn:

This personalized workshop training proposal is addressed to those with previous experience, as well as to those who approach jewelry for the first time. Since it is a one-to-one course, the student defines with the teacher the techniques to learn or deepen and how to apply them to the jewelry. The materials available to work with are: porcelain, metal and resin. The workshop is equipped for: porcelain making and firing techniques, goldsmithing, working with silicones and resins, electroforming and plating.

Duration and cost of the course:

You can choose from 2 options:
2-day course (12 hours of class) – 600 euros
3-day course (18 hours of class) – 900 euros
5-day course (30 hours of class) – 1500 euros
The cost of the course includes all materials used. For metal settings, brass and copper are provided. If you wish to work also with silver, it can be purchased on site. You do not have to bring any tools or materials; everything you need will be provided.

Class schedule:

From 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. – 1.30 p.m. to 4 p.m. every day.
Lunch break is from 12.30 to 1.30 p.m. The break is mandatory. No staying or eating lunch are allowed in the workshop.

Program and timetable:

The course program and timetable are arranged with the teacher via a video call on Zoom. You can book by clicking on “send your application form” or by emailing info@lucatripaldi.com directly. The Zoom interview is free of charge and does not bind participation. During the call the teacher defines with the student a personalized program and provide information about the stay in Florence. The course can be taken at any time of the year in accordance with the teacher’s availability; there is no set schedule. The course must be booked at least 1 month in advance of the date you want to attend.

Accommodation and meals:

Accommodation and meals are not provided. The historic center of Florence offers a wide choice of B&Bs and hotels, as well as a wide selection of coffee shop and restaurants with menus to suit any diet and budget. It is advisable to book your stay well in advance as Florence is a very popular tourist destination.
