Glazing techniques, various decorative effects on porcelain jewellery
The glazing and decoration of small porcelain elements require a specific approach and attention to their small size. The glazes must have the right thickness not to hide and cover the shape and the texture.However, there are other ways to decorate the elements with glazes to create satin, materic and sandy effects, precious lusters effects and prints effects by ceramic transfers. Those effects can be obtained firing the porcelain elements several times at different temperatures.
